  2. Jon Chevreau points out to a study which reveals how bad the returns of Labour-Sponsored Investment Funds have been: “Between 1991 and 2005, he says, labor funds earned rates of return lower than treasury bills”.
  3. The Easy Chair Portfolio (20% cash, 30% bonds, 35% Canadian Equity, 15% US Equity) has posted a 10-year annualized return of 8.7%. Not bad for a portfolio that takes a few minutes to assemble and even less to maintain.
