The Investment Reporter
Our local library has a subscription to The Investment Reporter, an investment advisory newsletter. The newsletter covers Canadian equities, US equities, income trusts etc, with an emphasis for large-cap equities. MarketWatch.com praises The Investment Reporter, calling it “A quiet Canadian conqueror”, for being among the top-performing investment newsletters over a 20-year period.
Pat McKeough, the original editor of the newsletter, now publishes his own newsletter called The Successful Investor. He recommends investing mostly in large-cap, well-established companies across five different sectors. Pat also writes an investing column for The Toronto Star.
Both these newsletters are worth reading, especially if they are available at the local library.
