Does “JoeD” actually stand for Joe De Sousa — the sales manager of RapidTel? It seems that you have a lot of inside information about the website issues and company in general. If so, you should be honest and upfront about your connection with the company. Posing as a customer when you are in fact representing the company seems unethical to me.

Totally, Ron. When you make a call during the day you pay 10-40 cents on average, depending on your plan.
On top of that, you are going to pay long distance!
Good luck. When I re-reviewed the forum, I found out that text2talk.ca has a unique method in this approach.

@Ron Munson: As Ted points out, you still have to call a local access number. A number of providers already have this capability, so it’s not really new. Other providers also have long distance at similar rates.

Well, I am a technical person. I am aware of the difficulties of managing sites. I would not blaim the moderator. In contrary, I think s/he is doing a good job as per conversations have covered in this forum. Please see above. S/he has ben very open-minded. Let people tell their opinion.

Hi Ted Smith, the problem is the guy who runs this blog/website doesn’t have a clue how to stop spammers. And when other people on these forums attack the spammers, the owner of this blog/website gets mad and thinks they should be banned from his site. It’s all to due with the poor management of this web site.

It seems like your are working for those guys!

Anyhow, The site you are offering is really not cheap or affordable. As a cellular owner, you are still need to call their access numbers. That is basically the damage you are going to experience. You make the call and pay more. Does not make sense. The telecom compaines will charge you arm and leg for those calls.

You should look for solutions in which you would get a call (incoming) to make a (long distance) call as it may have been covered in other providers’ services.

Sorry, not feasible.
