		<description>It is always a good idea to have fixed rates since most of us are on fixed income. I know a lot of these guys come to the door some more demanding than others, but in the long run they are offering you stability on your bills for 5 years. Now I know there isn&#039;t going to be any reason for my gas rates to dramatically increase like they did in the winter of 2006.</description>

		<description>I am a union gas customer and the current floating rate for my region (southern) is 35.6504/cubic meter.  This is only a bit below the 35.9 fixed rate.  I&#039;m giving a lot of thought to signing a 5 year arangement.</description>
