The Globe and Mail has published its monthly Trade by Numbers issue, focussing on commodities. As usual, there are some interesting columns and I found a few to be interesting:

  1. Columnist Harry Koza suggests superior ways of getting exposure to gold than just buying bullion coins or bars.
  2. Rob Carrick recommends ETFs and index funds based on the TSX Composite to provide a bit of downside protection if the energy sector corrects.
  3. Mathew Ingram points to experts who think that oil will be higher in the future.
