Dollars From Change Book Giveaway
Robert Smith, co-author of an excellent new book on taxes (read my recent review), has very kindly sent a copy of his book for one lucky reader to win. My previous giveaway attracted just 22 entries, so there is an excellent chance that you could win a book that could help you with this year’s taxes.
To participate, just leave a comment, any comment and don’t forget to include your email address (it is not displayed). It is really that simple. Here are a few rules:
- Deadline for entries is 8 p.m. EST on Tuesday, March 21, 2006.
- One entry per person.
- I’ll pick a name at random and announce the winner tomorrow.
- Canadian mailing addresses only.
- Your privacy is very important to me and your email address will be used for the sole purpose of contacting you, if you happen to win.
Bonne Chance!

Can’t pass up a chance at a free book!
As an Canadian engineering student one year from graduation, I wish to learn as much as I can about saving and investing in Canada, so that I can apply this knowledge as soon as I get to The Real World and have a steady income. Your blog has been a valuable tool in my effort to do this. Thank you sincerely.
I’m in. Thanks.
PS. Good website.
Enjoy the site. Cheers.
Hi,

Scott

Looks like a great book – and after seeing so many giveaways on finance sites specifying ‘U.S. addresses only’ to think I was starting to lose hope for us canucks.
contest entry
I won last time and enjoyed the book! Can I go 2 for 2?
Love to save on taxes!
Book me Danno!
Just came across your site, looks good.
May as well try to win a book too.
I am about to look into your site…it was sent to me by a friend that starts fires with his money, so I thought I’d pay attention to it. If you’re half as smart as he is this site will be worth its salt.
Thanks in advance for the book, that was very thoughtful of you.
count me in as well… awesome website… saves me money every time i read it…
Nice site! It’s refreshing to find something that’s actually Canadian and not just a thin veneer on a US entity.
Good timing for me, I just found your website yesterday when I was looking for Tax Freedom Day for Canadians!
I’ve been following your blog for a while now, and I really enjoy that fact that you talk on Canadian terms – so much financial blogging is from Americans… not all bad – but being from Canada – it’s always been “well, can I apply what they’re saying to me?”… and more times than not – I can’t. I’ve learned alot reading your blog… and whether I win the cool book or not – I just want to say… keep up the great articles
Love the blog – hope to win the book
Money saving tip .. let the winner be from Ottawa .. me please.
Contest entry please (for book…or $1 million dollars… whichever you like…)
contest entry! I can’t pass up a free book, or anything else for that matter!
Long time reader of the site, would love a copy of the book! Keep up the good work!
Looks like you’re over 21 entries this time around! Hope this counts as a contest entry. Enjoy reading your blog.
Free stuff is fun
Hello CC, I’m immigrating to Canada in about 10 days and I’ve been reading your blog to learn more about Canadian Finance and stuff.
I’d love to participate in the giveaway as well.
Thanks!
great site, hope I win the book!
Please enter me in your contest. I came across your website while searching for information on the Tim Horton’s IPO. Your comments make sense – much too great a demand and too little demand to obtain the stock at a reasonable price. I believe, however, that the slide in the price of the stock will occur within the year.
In the previous comment, second “demand” = “supply”.
I am very interested in your opion on this topic. I need and option the the borrow to invest and write off the interest, but don’t worry about where the investment goes!!!
In before deadline, phew, hope I win this book. =) Keep up the good work CC.
Thanks everyone for entering the contest. The winner is Kay. Congratulations Kay and Welcome to Canada!
[...] Note: Kay is the winner of the Dollars From Change book giveaway. Thanks to everyone for participating! [...]
Once again, Thank you very much, CC!
This book will be of great help to me.
