Ameritrade Canada
If you invest in US markets even occasionally, it might be worth considering opening an account with Ameritrade. Each US equity trade will cost $10.99 compared to trades starting at $26.99 at E-Trade and the discount arms of the major Canadian banks. I’ve been using Ameritrade for over a year now and my experience with them has been very good.

No matter which ,firm aloting all the gears and whistles.At the end of the day its still a broakage which must make the trade. I with my home pc ,can trade hundreds of times a second.I,ll take a long straddle on the canadian dollar buy a long contract every second. Buy a long put contract every second.My concern is it would flatten out the market. J
