Canadian Tax Brackets

March 29th, 2006 · 2 Comments

Since Google refers people searching for “Canadian Tax Brackets” to my website, here are some resources to help with our tax system:

  • Ernst & Young Canada Tax Calculators page offers personal tax calculators (though not for 2006 so far), RRSP Savings calculator and a handy one page summary of the tax brackets (which includes marginal tax rates on dividends and capital gains across all tax brackets) for all provinces and territories.
  • The Ernst & Young website also has a handy 68-page guide Managing Your Personal Taxes that is worth checking out. Also, check out their Top Ten Tax-Filing Tips article.
  • KPMG Canada offers a one-page summary of federal and provincial tax rates and brackets. Other useful information such as the personal non-refundable tax credit rates and amounts and RRSP contribution limits are also available here.
  • Of course, the Canada Revenue Agency has a page on the income tax rates in Canada (including provincial tax rates except for Quebec).

IMHO, those don’t hold a candle to this http://www.taxtips.ca/tax_rates.htm for rates.

E&Y’s 68-page guide was pretty cool though.
