  1. The Toronto Stock Exchange closed above 10,000 for the first time since October 2000. Unlike the last time when Nortel accounted for most of the gains, the current rally is broad-based driven by energy, materials and financials.
  2. I recently posted about Canadian stocks covered by ValueLine. Subsequently, ValueLine has added Canadian Natural Resources (TSX, NYSE: CNQ) and Suncor Energy (TSX: SU) to its Investment Survey.
  3. Canada is finally going to curb Internet pharmacies from filling prescriptions for Americans. Canadians risk paying high prices for drugs or facing shortages if the mail-order pharmacies are allowed to flourish.
  4. Does Time magazine’s recent Home $weet Home cover portend a real estate downturn? Or, perhaps there is a bubble in bubbles.
