Boxing Day Madness

December 26th, 2004 · No Comments

Retailers have boxing day sales here in Canada that have people lining-up early outside in -25C weather, the parking lots are full and the best deals are sold out in minutes. Retailers typically limit the number of highly discounted items available in each store. I think they are hoping that after going through all that trouble, people will just buy something. It is really surprising that after going through all the hassles of shopping for gifts before Christmas, we are so willing to do it all over again on Boxing Day. Personally, I am going to wake up late, have a hot cup of coffee and stay warm inside.
